Qtek 9100 tips & tricks

Aby rozpocząć jakże ciekawy temat sztuczek i kruczków na palmtopa Qtek 9100 pozwalam sobie zamieścić kilka ściągnietych z adresu :

01.Turn On GPS Application
Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MASCHINE\ControlPanel\GPS Settings
Delete the DWORD marked "hide"
Add a DWORD called "Group" and give it the value of "2" (dec)

The GPS panel will now show up in your connection settings.

02.MS Voice Command activation from BT headset
Install Voice Command to the default location.
Fire up a registry editor
Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand
Modify the string marked "path" from the default \Windows\SDDialer.exe to \Program Files\Voice Command\VoiceCMD.exe

Now, when you press your BT headset connect button, MS Voice command will fire up and take commands through the headset. It's reponses will be played through the headset too.

04.Load HTML Pages not Wap Download Cab Here
\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Edit the key: Load_WML_over_HTTP
If you want WAP pages then type 1
If you want HTML pages then type 0

The Universal is set to over ride this during low bandwith time. (Looking for that fix)

05. Staying connected to GPRS/3G
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers\{7C4B7A38-5FF7-4bc1-80F6-5DA7870BB1AA}\Connections\(GPRS connection name)\AlwaysOn

Just change it from 0 to 1. Remember there will be no way to turn off GPRS once this is done unless you change it back

06.Change Scroll Bar (Smaller) Download Cab Here
Change the width of the vertical scroll bar and the height of the horizontal scroll bar so they take less room on the screen:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE
Change cxVScr to (say) 9 to make vertical scrollbar narrower. Default value is 13
Change cyHScr to (say) 9 to make horizontal scrollbar narrower. Default value is 13

07.Cleartype in landscape mode
Change the following registry setting, and soft reset your Jasjar.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\ClearTypeSettings]
"OffOnRotation"=0

08. Keep Keyboard Light on for 30 sec (Not Ten) Download Cab Here HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Backlight\QKeyLedTimeout
Change the value to however long you want the light to stay on. The domloadable cab is set at 30sec.

A oto moje, chyba najbardziej przydante - możliwość przypisania dowolnych aplikacji dla 2 guzików "softkey"

Open up a registry entry program such as Resco Registry that comes with Resco Explorer 2005. Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 2" By changing the default key you can change the text of the softkey and by changing Open key you can change the program that it opens. The right key cannot be changed by this method. "

Now the Second Key

you just add a new key
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 3"

and the default is the key

and and a new string value "Open" with the path and presto!!!!

I jeszcze znalazłem - nazywają to: speed up WM 5.0
Chodzi o to, że zwiększa się\aktywuje jakiś tam cache. No i wydaje mi sie,że system tak jakby szybciej chodził ( nie dostawał czkawki podczas przechodzenia pomiędzy aplikacjami\oknami)
