GigaBar + Nec 900/c = cegła? Koniecznie przeczytajcie!

I strongly recommend nobody try to install the full suite of GIGABAR on their 900.

I have just bricked my SECOND MobilePro 900. It may have something to do with ActiveSync trying to install additional Gigabar suite apps while the actual main app isn't done installing. I'm not sure, but the 900 just can't handle it and locks up. I got the readme popup on the 900 and the systray disappeared. Frozen. I tried to soft reset and bang, no more LED power light on AC power. Dead. Bricked. My second 900 in as many weeks rendered useless.

So before I go slamming my head into the concrete out back on my patio, I thought I'd pass this along. It was Gigabar BOTH TIMES, and both times ActiveSync was trying to load all the Gigabar suite apps and somewhere in there, the NEC died.

Both units had the cmonex ROM upgrade.

mogę chyba tylko odetchnąć z ulgą - mam zainstalowanego gigabara - nic się z nim nie działo, na szczęście. Wedle jego słów, działo się  to, gdy próbował instalować na raz parę dodatków - to może być powodem - ja jechałem po kolei - active sync, potem instal na 900c i znów nast. element na active.
