What a disappointment!!! NOT RECOMMENDED….UNLESS - You only use Windows media player, button functions do not work with other media players, even tried core player with the “wmp plugin adapter “ which allows core player to 'host' plugins that are originally designed for Windows Media Player 10 but alas that doesn’t work either. Even if you don’t mind using windows media player you are still left with the problem that pressing a button on the w100 wired remote will turn your device screen on. This happens even if you have set a button in windows media player to turn the device screen off. If you lock your device screen then you can’t use the button you have set in windows media player to turn the device screen off because it is not possible to map the windows media player to a button on the remote. The screen will also not turn off automatically after a given period of time while windows media player is running. So you might want to consider purchasing an extra battery if you decide to go with the w100. As for the headphones with the E100, don’t bother, you would have better sound quality from two tin cans connected by a piece of string, and less treble. I also tried installing the latest audio drivers from HTC, first off they do not install and you get a message that you have the latest driver already installed. To install the driver you need to extract the files from the exe and install the cab file manually, still doesn’t help.

Mam tylko male pytanie - autor tej recenzji uzywal Kaisera, czy tez innego modelu ? Jakby nie patrzec, moze w przypadku Kaisera (do ktorego ponoc (wg strony HTC) nie trzeba instalowac driverow) bedzie to dzialalo troche lepiej, choc w takim ukladzie nie spodziewalbym sie niczego dobrego :/
I zasadniczo w takiej sytuacji o wiele lepszym pomyslem bedzie po prostu kablowy zestaw sluchawkowy (ktory mozna z latwoscia kupic na Allegro, ma przycisk odbierania/wybierania/etc., mikrofon oraz wyjscie sluchawkowe minijack 3,5 mm) albo... ale tutaj cena jest juz zabojcza - ewentualnie ten zestaw BlueToothowy (tj. HTC S100). Boje sie jednak, ze mimo zabojczej ceny moze on powielac bledy tego zestawu, choc... nie powinien. Jakby nie patrzec - A2DP (i jeszcze drugi typ 'transferu', odpowiadajacy za sterowanie - nazwa wyleciala mi z glowy) zostalo wynalezione nie bez przyczyny - wiec moze tutaj juz da sie uzywac uniwersalnie w kazdym programie wspierajacym tego typu rozwiazania (o ile takowy jest ?). Jednak jeszcze inna kwestia - poprzez BT jest duzo innych sluchawek, tanszych, nawet z wlasnym wyjsciem 3,5 mm oraz adapterem BT (jesli jakies urzadzenie nie ma tej komunikacji wbudowanej, wpina sie po prostu przez jacka 3,5 mm do niego adapterek BT, kupowany razem (np. Plantronics) lub oddzielnie (np. Jabra)) - to jakosc dzwieku w kazdym przypadku jest po prostu gorsza - zwiazane jest to z waskim pasmem transferu danych przez BT, nawet 2.0 + EDR (i jak sadze, 2.1 nic w tej kwestii nie zmieni). Jesli jakies sluchawki mialy dodatkowy tryb kablowy (tj. mialy wlasny kabel, do podpiecia bezposrednio pod sprzet bez uzycia BT), to w kazdym pojedynczym tescie dzwiek byl lepszej jakosci. Niestety.
